    Do I need to book your services in advance?

    Should I take out insurance?

    Our experienced staff will go beyond their way to keep your belongings safe. However, there may be situations where things happen beyond our control. Therefore, we always encourage taking out insurance to protect your valuables during moving. We could help directing you to insurance providers or even organise insurance on behalf of you.

    Are all movers the same ?

    All movers are not the same. Do your homework and research the moving companies, compare their service experience, rates and reputation. Yes, there are a lot of disorganised and unreliable companies. However, hiring an experienced and professional movers will avoid stressful situations at the end.

    Can I ride with the movers in the truck?

    Unfortunately, our liablility insurances only cover the truck and our workers. Therefore, if an accident happens to occur, our insurances will not cover any passengers that are not staff of Grade A Movers. You can drive your own car with the movers truck or catch a taxi to your destination and coordinate to meet the movers when you get there. However, riding in the truck is not an option.

    What are your payment options?

    We require the full payment before we unload your belongings. You can make the payment with cash or using a bank card. We accept Mastercard and Visa and our movers will carry EFTPOS machine with them on request. We have a small 1.5% surcharge to cover our bank fees.

    Is it possible to have only one mover for the move?

    We usually prefer providing 2 movers as our movers are well trained and experienced to handle every kind of moving situations. However, if your moving job consists only a few items and you are happy to help to load and unload, we could provide a single mover with the vehicle.

    Does the move come with boxes ?

    We do not provide boxes with the moving job. You can buy professional moving boxes separately. Professional moving boxes made from durable cardboard and can handle heavier items than normal boxes.

    How long will my move take ?

    Can I get an upfront quote ?

    We have carried out thousands of moves and we haven’t come across two moves that are the same. There are number of factors that come in to play when estimating the duration of a move including how prepared you are on the day and how many items you have to move.
    We understand why customers want to know how long their move is going to take, as they may need to consider budgets and time frames. We provide approximate estimated time the move is going to take and the charge. However, due to the complex nature of moving, these approximate time frames may change.
